  6. Add salt, lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stir occasionally..
  7. For tempering:- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a tadka pan, add mustard seeds/cumin seeds, kashmiri red chili powder, green chilli, curry leaves..
  8. Remove kadhi in the serving bowl or plate add tempering on top..
  9. Serve hot with steamed rice & papad..
